The curfew is over and that means to me that I can pick up the evening/night painting again. At the moment you have to wait a long time until it really gets dark, but I always start earlier with setting up and making a small painting...
It is an extraordinarily wonderfully peaceful evening, the birds are still singing their evening song and a swan is bobbing in the distance. A young farmer who lives nearby and whom I have spoken to before comes over for a nice chat. He even offers me coffee, but I have to keep going ;-) the light goes so fast. It gradually gets dark and the light on my head comes on. In the end I leave satisfied through the now wet grass...
