The sun is shining brightly and I was lucky enough to find this tulip field. I was able to paint there in peace and quiet, which is extraordinary these days. The bulb farmer greets me kindly and also goes further with his own business quietly.
While listening to the lapwing in the distance, I suddenly think of the song "Naar de bollen" (To the bulbs), together with a group of nice colleagues I worked on Urk for a week a few years ago. This song became teasingly popular then ;-) I continue humming, with nice memories of Urk in my mind....
