Today we have been hunting for a new painting spot and we have found a beautiful spot on the Ratumsebeek in Winterswijk. A stream with beautiful natural lines and sandy eroded banks. The water flowed calmly at my feet, I fell in love instantly...
And I didn't have to think long about the place to stand. Every now and then a walker or cyclists came by to have a look, but I was able to continue working on a "Hidden nature" painting of a hidden place in our beautiful Achterhoek. And, okay, with one small drawback, there were a lot of mosquitoes, but once well protected it was fine to maintain :-) .
