What would they signal to each other? I wondered and enjoyed their presence. Meanwhile, a friendly man came to have a chat. It soon became about the love for nature, the problems in the world, the horrors in Ukraine, everything passed by in a nutshell.
It was a beautiful and pure conversation about the meaning of life, but after all that gloom I said with a smile, "but... today we did see the woodpecker again!". The man looked at me with pleasure, smiled back and understood exactly what I meant...
