What also touched me during the painting week was the fact that a humpback whale was seen at the coast of Noordwijk. Unfortunately, I was unable to spot it myself, despite the fact that I spent a lot of time painting on the water line. The funny thing was that at the beginning of the week we already were joking about painting a whale in it.
Unbelievable, but later in the week there really was one. The weather cooperated and we were able to work a lot on the beach with the occasional little bit of rain. Unfortunately, the humpback whale remained hidden between the waves.
Secretly, I kept waiting for "Moby" and my improvised song "My Moby is over the ocean" ;) became popular 🎶
