Ice ice baby

Published on 13 February 2021 at 15:20

It was so beautiful at the Berkel today. Sun and -4 ℃ and not too much wind makes nice snow paint conditions. It has been freezing for days and even on the Berkel ice is starting to grow. That immediately fascinated me. Nature is always different at the Berkel.

It is also very nice that I did not have cold fingers today, because it seems that I have found something on that.

Tight winter cycling gloves with latex gloves on top works great! No more frozen fingertips.

Oh yes, I was also mistaken for a scarecrow by an enthusiastic couple who saw me at a great distance.

You always experience something on the waterfront ..... :-)

Ice, ice baby, oil on canvas, 60 x 80 cm, 2021.
