There is no snow at this moment like in February 2021, but what is not can always come. I can't ski myself, but the ski suit is already ready in my car :-). I would like to thank everyone for all the support, the many purchases, heartwarming reactions online and in real life!

It was cold, frosty and foggy, but it was lovely. Well packed against the cold it was good to be outside. There is a frosty layer on the reed and the heavy gray world makes it even more special. That is why I can be found again and again at de Berkel, because nature is always so diverse...

Today I went into the forest of Ampsen, it was very gray all day, but I actually like that moody atmosphere. It was busy with walkers, because today many people celebrate Sinterklaas. Whole families take a walk in the woods to enjoy the gifts and food later...

The silence of the evening and night is inspiring for many artists. I also belong to that group of night diggers. Where many people hang out on the couch, I go out, especially on this day. The sun disappears, the mist rises and my thoughts are organizing in my head...

It is winters and dark early, but ideal for me to go out again in the evening. A miner's light on my head and a light on my pochade is enough to be able to work. In these turbulent times it is extra nice to be one with nature in complete silence...
